PHILIPPINE TYPHOON DISASTER APPEAL

Updates on latest progress following shortly ......

After almost three months of sorting, packing and shipping donated goods for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, on February 20, 2014 we finally vacated Unit 62 at Steventon Storage Facility and officially handed it back to its owners MEPC with our thanks.

FilCom Oxford deeply and whole-heartedly thanks all those who donated and all those who have given their time and energy to unloading and loading, sorting and packing. Thanks also to the individuals and families who generously paid for the shipment of some goods to the Philippines and to Phil Express who helped us with shipping at preferential rates.

The whole relief effort has drawn us closer and made our community stronger than ever before.  We are very proud to be part of a community that cares for those who need help most.  We value the lessons we have learned during these operations and we look forward to your continued support for the future undertakings and challenges of the Filipino Community of Oxfordshire.

The job is not yet over.  We will continue to update you and publish pictures of distribution of goods as well as thank you messages from those who have received the goods. Follow the link below.

Mabuhay po tayong lahat!
